Sarah Hakam graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston, where she earned top honors for her academic achievements. As a medical student at Texas A&M’s EnMed program, she conducts research in nanomedicine drug delivery systems and postpartum mental health, while serving as an Aggie Ambassador, UH Pre-Medicine mentor, and Treasurer of A&M's TMA/AMA. With a passion for bridging engineering and medicine, she aims to advance psychiatric care through psychopharmacology, bioinformatics, and novel treatment delivery systems. After completing her medical training, she plans to pursue a residency in Psychiatry.
