POETRY FOR INCLUSION

Vulnerability and moral injury

Years of concealment in the ivory garment

A plea to be exposed and breathe

transparency but yet again

suffocated and shackled by inflated ego.

Humanity sifts through exterior facade.

An interior core weeps for

expulsion of desensitized feelings

that slithers through the desultory physician emblem.
